Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, Patali Champika says that the lack of a proper political authority to oversee municipal councils is a primary factor fueling the prevalent garbage issue.

 

He proceeded to add that a waste collection site must be established in Kaduwela as well, in order to tackle the waste management problem.

 

The Minister of Megapolis and Western Development stated this upon attending a public gathering in Kaduwela today (10).
