Sri Lanka runs risk of becoming a weak nation - Anura Priyadarshana

Minister of Disaster Management, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa warns that Sri Lanka may become a weak country amongst Asian nations, given the prevalent crisis situation on the island.

 

He states that national unity is a crucial factor to achieve economic development.

 

The Minister stated this upon attending an event in Panduwasnuwara, Kurunegala today (10).

 

Meanwhile, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, Lakshman Kiriella, upon participating at an event at a Kandyan temple, ensured that the new constitution would be acceptable by all parties concerned.
