Residents of Ambalantota vexed by sand-filled tipper trucks

Residents of Ambalantota have been inconvenienced by the frequent movement of tipper trucks transporting sand.
Reports state that tipper trucks carrying sand constantly travel from Bolana to a sand storage facility in Malpeththawa, via the town of Ambalantota.
Our Ada Derana reporter said that the high amount of dust left behind by the tipper trucks has veiled the town, which has resultantly caused hardships to both residents and shop owners alike.
Resident complain that although authorities have been informed, no action has yet been taken to mitigate the issue.
