Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara stated that he will work with any individual appointed as the head of the party to help the party progress.
The Minister stated that if the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) was to split, it would be impossible to establish a stable government in the future.
The statements were made during a press conference held in Kurunegala.
