Minister of Fisheries, Mahinda Amaraweera stated that whatever the political pressures he may face, he will not let go of his political career. 

 

He further added that the public had faith in him and was confident about his role as a minister. 

 

The statements were brought out during a media briefing held in Walasamulla. 

 

Meanwhile, Minister of Agriculture, Wasantha Aluwihare stated that the time was right to bring in a new constitution. 

 

Aluwihare made these statements during a media briefing held in Kalpitiya, Matale.
