An individual in Dambana, Mahiyanganaya was attacked using a sharp object early this morning (13).
The individual was admitted to the Dambana hospital, where he later passed away after suffering extensive injuries.
The deceased has been identified as a 37-year-old from Welpallewela, Dambana.
Mahiyanganaya Police Department has begun further investigations on the matter.
