Kotahena water supply expected to return to normal

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced that the water supply to Kotahena would be restored within the course of today (14).
Amidst a project to lay down new water pipes, a main water distributing pipe directing water to Kotahena sustained damages last Wednesday (12).
A spokesperson from the Board reported that the authority was in the process of repairing the damage to the pipe which was under the jurisdiction of the NWSDB.
Meanwhile, our Ada Derana reporter also stated that a traffic congestion had arisen in the morning today (14) as a result of the repairs.
