Party secretaries and Election Commission to discuss LG polls and PC polls

A special discussion between the party secretaries and the Election Commission has been scheduled to be held today (04).
The discussion will reportedly address the Local Government and Provincial Council polls.
Chairman of the Election Commission, Mahinda Deshapriya stated that the compilation of the voters’ registry would also be addressed with at the meeting.
Meanwhile, another discussion had taken place between the Chairman of the Election Commission and the People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL).
Executive Director of PAFFREL, Rohana Hettiarachchi stated that the Chairman’s attention had been drawn towards the recurring delay of the elections.
