Shouldn’t resign just because you’ve been accused of corruption – Fonseka

Minister Sajith Premadasa stated that if he was to be accused of corruption by members of the government, then he would leave his ministerial position as requested.
He added that the current government was elected into the power, promising that they would secure an establishment free of corruption.
Furthermore, MP Kavinda Jayawardena stated that he is quite happy about the investigational processes currently being carried out on the individuals accused of corruption.
Moreover, Minister Sarath Fonseka stated that just because an individual has been accused of corruption, does not mean that their they should resign from their position.
