
Provincial councilor Anura Vidanagamage has been appointed as the new Uva Province Minister of Health & Indigenous Medicine, Probation and Child Care, Women’s Affairs and Social Welfare.
He will be replacing the former provincial minister R.M. Kumarasiri Rathnayake.
Vidanagamage received his letter of appointment from Uva Province Governor M.P. Jayasinghe before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat.
Meanwhile his brother MP Thenuka Vidanagamage has been appointed as the Co-chairman of the Mahiyanganaya Development Committee.
He received the letter of appointment from President Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
