UNP parliamentarian Kavinda Jayawardana stated that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was raising false allegations that the same law had been inconsistently good for the UNP politician and bad for someone partial to himself.
The United National Party (UNP) parliamentarian said this upon addressing the media after an event in Gampaha.
He then said that a prominent minister of the Sri Lanka Freedom party (SLFP) had raised allegations against Basil Rajapaksa, and added that Mahinda Rajapaksa had gotten his sides confused because someone like Basil had been put in charge of the Joint Opposition (JO) much to everyone’s surprise.
Jayawardana accordingly requested Mahinda Rajapaksa to kindly solve his family problems and party problems.
Furthermore, he added that Mahinda Rajapaksa need not concern himself with the problems of UNP ministers.
