No-confidence motion was brought forward to enlighten the public – MR

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that the motion of no-confidence was submitted against Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne to enlighten the public on frauds committed by him.
Speaking to the media following a religious observance at the Narahenpita Abayaramaya yesterday (24), the former President stated that the pressing issue right now is not to inquire if the Health Minister was brought forward to the bribery commission, but to inquire on whether or not he accepted bribes during his tenure as a member of parliament.
It was also stated that the course of events to come will reveal the true nature in which Minister Senaratne conducted himself as a senior member of parliament.
