
The Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara stated that all students facing the GCE Advanced Level Examination are to disperse from their respective examination centers without causing any public disturbances after the conclusion of the final A/Level paper on September 04.
350,000 applicants are expected to face the final paper that was postponed for the Hadji festival. The Exams commissioner stated that any student causing a disturbance inside, or in close proximity to an examination center will be taken into Police custody.
It has been reported that Police personnel throughout the island have been instructed to be vigilant on the behavior of students after the conclusion of the examination.
