Police Officials from the Dambulla Police Station have commenced investigating a murder that was committed at a parking lot in front of the Dambulla Hospital today (5).
Reports confirm that the Dambulla Police received word of a dead body at a private parking lot in front of the Dambulla hospital early this morning. Accordingly attempts were made to admit the deceased person to the Dambulla hospital whose corpse is currently being examined by Police officials.
It has been reported that the deceased person was a 34 resident of Lendora in Walgamwewa.
Police Officials stated that the death occurred due to severe wounds sustained by blunt force trauma. It has been reported that several wooden clubs were recovered from the scene of the crime.
