I have no intention of joining a coalition government in 2020 – Amaraweera

Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Development Mahinda Amaraweera stated that the he has no intention of being a part of a coalition government with the UNP and SLFP in 2020 despite the UNP expressing their willingness to create a combined government.
Speaking to the media at a press conference today, Minister Amaraweera stated that the UPFA intends to create a government with the SLFP utilizing the symbol of either party for an election.
He however stated that it is encouraging to note that the UNP has expressed their willingness to come together with the SLFP to create a conjoined government in 2020. He further mentioned that the UPFA will prefer to have a coalition government with the SLFP.
