Government officials should not be afraid by the fact that two government officials have been punished, stated Irrigation State Minister Palitha Range Bandara.
He made this statement at the opening ceremony of the Wanathawilluwa housing project.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister said that state officials should act in accordance with law without being dominated by the short-sighted decisions imposed by the politicians.
Meanwhile, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs Minister S.B. Navinna, said offenders should be punished without considering their status, while speaking at a function held at the Nochchiyagama Divisional Secretariat.
“The public are vigilant about the punishment that would be given to the culprits of the Central Bank bond scam,” said Skills Development and Vocational Training Minister, Chandima Weerakkody at a ceremony held in Medawachchiya area.
