Heavy traffic near Technical Junction due to fallen tree

A tree has reportedly fallen across Olcott Mawatha near Technical Junction, resulting in severe traffic congestion in the area.
The tree had fallen on a passing SLTB bus while steps are currently being taken to remove it.
Ada Derana reporter said that a traffic jam has developed especially on lane for vehicle exiting Colombo on Olcott Mawatha.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes in order to avoid any inconveniences, police said.
