Proposals for 2018 budget may be submitted: Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance has circulated a notice for the submission of proposals for the 2018 Budget. 

 

Accordingly the Ministry has urged members of the Production, Financial, Agricultural and Service sectors along with any member of the general public to submit proposals for the 2018 Budget to the Ministry of Finance. 

 

All proposals are to be submitted to the postal address of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance and Media at Colombo Fort by October 15. 

 

The Budget for 2018 is to be produced before parliament on November 9, 2017. The Ministry of Finance issued a statement that the 2018 budget will be prepared to create a financially strong Sri Lanka with over 10000 new jobs in the market.
