A tree has fallen on top of a parked vehicle at Ward Place in Colombo 07, due to the prevailing inclement weather conditions, resulting in severe traffic congestion in the area.
Police said that nobody had suffered any injuries following the incident and that, however this has caused a traffic jam.
Measures are currently being taken to remove the tree from the road, police said.
