
Four suspects including a female arrested for threatening Rohingya refugees in Mount Lavinia were remanded till October 9 by Mount Lavinia Magistrate.
Police sources yesterday (30) confirmed that four more suspects involved in the September 26, Rohingya refugee incident, have been taken into Police custody.
Accordingly the arrests were made yesterday, following investigations into the threats made by certain radical groups against the Myanmar Rohingya refugees who were residing in Mount Lavinia.
Reports confirm that the four arrested suspects are residents of Meethotamulla, Ganemulla, Enderamulla and Nawala.
