
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to leave the country on a personal holiday to Germany tomorrow (5), before his official visit to Finland later on this month.
Following his tour of Berlin, the Premier will depart to Finland on October 9, for a diplomatic visit.
It has been reported that the Prime Minister will visit the Finnish capital in order to strengthen the economic and political ties that exist between Sri Lanka and Finland.
Several political dignitaries including the Minister of Ports and Shipping Mahinda Samarasinghe and the Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam will accompany the Prime Minister during his visit to Finland.
The Prime Minister’s Office reports that the Sri Lankan contingent will meet with high ranking Finnish dignitaries including the Prime Minister of Finland at Helsinki to conduct bilateral discussions.
