Four Indian fishermen arrested for poaching in Sri Lankan waters

The Northern Naval Command arrested four Indian fishermen engaged in illegal fishing activities in Sri Lankan territorial waters,off Northwest of Delft Island today (05), the Navy said.
A fishing dhow was also seized.
The arrested fishermen, the seized dhow and fishing gear were brought to the naval base.
The fishermen have been handed over to the Jaffna Assistant Fisheries Director for legal action, the Navy said.
