Showery condition continues

Prevailing showery condition is expected to continue during next few days, announces the Meteorological Department.
This condition will prevail particularly in South-western part of the island and Eastern province.
Meanwhile showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
The Meteorological Department requests general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
