Work ethic of govt servants is pitiable – Rajitha

Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Rajitha Senaratne stated that the work ethic and decision making ability of government servants is unfortunately dismal.
He stated that there exists a culture within the government service, where employees palm off responsibilities and remain only within their job role.
The Minister stated that this lethargic and constraining work ethic has curbed the productivity and attractiveness of the government service.
