A Kuwait national aged 57, bound to Bangkok by UL404 this morning (11) was nabbed with 4.5 Kg of Wallapatta (Grynops Walla) at the silk route of BIA Departure.
The stock of Wallapatta amounting to Rs. 154,000 was intercepted and handed over to the Customs by AASL security.
The goods were forfeited and the suspect was released after being severely warned without any penalty by Mr.M.A.Karunaratne,Deputy Director of Customs
