SLSI celebrates World Standards Day 2017

The Sri Lanka Standards Institute celebrates World Standards Day 2017 today (14), following the declaration of a national standards week from October 9.
Deputy Director General of the SLSI W.N.N. Satharasinghe stated that the National standards week will go on till October 15 under the theme “standards make cities smarter”.
It was been reported that awareness programs on the importance of standardization were conducted throughout the island to school children, educators and industrialists.
