State Minister of Irrigation Palitha Range Bandara stated that any potential candidate who aims to contest at the Pradeshiya Sabha elections with no motive to better the lives of the people should refrain from entering the polls.
Speaking to the candidates who are contesting the elections through the United National Party, Palitha Range Bandara stated that all potential candidates should have pure ambitions of democracy and have a clear development vision for their respective communities.
The State Minister of Irrigation stated that the era where politicians vied behind party leaders in search of favour is long gone.
