A man has been killed after stepping on an electric fence that was meant to keep animals away from a vegetation plot in Diyathalawa earlier today (26).
Initial investigations from the Police reveal that the man had lost his life immediately after a surge of current electrocuted him.
The Police have stated that the identity of the diseased person cannot be determined at the moment.
