New bill to be introduced on university standards

A new bill will be introduced regarding the standards of the universities of Sri Lanka,said Highways and Higher Education Cabinet Minister Lakshman Kiriella.
It will be funded by the World Bank, the Minister said.
He made this statement while participating at the International Conference on Ayurvedic and Indigenous Medicine in Colombo.
The Minister further stated that steps will be taken to initiate three new medical faculties next year.
