Due to the low-level atmospheric condition in Sri Lanka, a dense mist clouded the Jaffna-Kandy A-9 main road making travel near impossible earlier this morning (1).
Motorists confirmed that roads leading to Vavuniya, Mankulam and Puliyankula were completely covered by a dense fog.
Officials state that the situation arose due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions and advised all travelers to drive with caution.
