
Chairman of the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau Nimal Bopage stated that the Geological Survey department is currently in search of a resolution for the problems faced by quarries and sand miners in the transportation of raw materials.
Nimal Bopage stated that industrialists have faced several issues when transporting raw materials to manufacturers in an economic and eco-friendly manner.
Speaking at a media briefing yesterday (2), the Chairman introduced a hotline for complaints to be lodged on difficulties faced by the mining community.
