Minister of Justice Thalatha Atukorale stated that the previous regime faced a severe crisis towards the end of their term in power.
She stated that the previous regime had no other option but to hold a presidential election in wake of their compelling crisis that shook the very core of the Rajapaksa government.
The Justice Minister expressed these sentiments while addressing a gathering in Balangoda.
