Four Police cops were injured following an accident which took place off Wellawaya –Ethiliwewa fair.
The accident took place when a lorry collided with the parked mobile police jeep.
They were admitted to Wellawaya Hospital and one was transferred to Monaragala Hospital for further treatments.
The lorry driver was arrested by Wellawaya Police and further investigations into the incident are being carried out by the police.
