Party defectors will not prevent a SLFP victory at LG polls – Nimal Siripala

Senior Vice-President of the SLFP NImal Siripala de Silva stated that all steps have been taken to guarantee a resounding SLFP victory at the upcoming Local Government elections. He further stated that the SLFP will not be deterred by anyone who chooses to defect from the party prior to the polls.
Minister de Silva expressed these statements while addressing a SLFP rally in Ratmalana.
Meanwhile leader of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya Udaya Gammanpila stated that the government is cowering in fear of their impending defeat at the upcoming election.
State Minister of Higher Education Mohan Lal Grero stated that the LG polls presents the SLFP with a prime opportunity to cleanse the party of all its immoral and corrupt members.
