Tense situation at Pensions Department

A tense situation has been reported at the Department of Pensions, a short while ago, due to a protest being carried out by a group of disabled Police and STF pensioners.
According to Ada Derana reporter, the situation had taken a turn for the worst when the protesters had forcible entered the premise of the Pensions Department.
Police personnel have been deployed to the location in order to avoid any destruction to public property and other violence from breaking out.
