Legal action against irresponsible cattle owners – Champika Ranawaka

Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Patali Champika Ranawaka requested all cattle owners to ensure that their cattle were not left unattended to roam the streets of Colombo. 

 

He further stated that legal action will be sought against cattle owners leaving cattle unattended after December 15. 

 

The Minister expressed these sentiments as stray cattle have caused several hindrances to the residents of Colombo. 

 

He further stated that all cattle owners should obtain a license to heard cattle in accordance with the Megapolis Ordinance.
