Nominations for 208 LG institutions to be called on December 4

Sources from the Commission of Election state that the calling for nominations for the 208 Local Government institutions that were unsanctioned will take place from December 18 to December 21. 

 

The Commissioner of Elections Mahinda Deshapriya stated that a notice will be issued calling nominations for the 208 LG institutions tomorrow (4). 

 

The Elections Commission requested for nominations for 93 LG institutions due to a court case filed against the delimitation of LG bodies.
