General Secretary of the UPFA Minister Mahinda Amaraweera stated that the SLFP will not hold further discussions with the Joint Opposition prior to the Local Government election.
The Minister stated that all talks of joining with the JO were unsuccessful due to the rigid stance taken by the members of the JO.
Minister Amaraweera made these statements following an event in Galle.
