A Chinese male was apprehended by the Customs staff at the Bandaranaike International Airport with a large consignment of foreign currency earlier today (9).
The 25-year-old was bound to Singapore via flight UL302.
Customs officials confiscated 100,000 Singaporean Dollars from the baggage of the Chinese male. The currency was approximately valued at Rs.11,545,130.
