No reason to chase behind party defectors – Duminda

General Secretary of the SLFP Duminda Dissanayake stated that there is no reason for the SLFP to be divided among the village community of Sri Lanka. 

 

He further stated that the party leaders focused on uniting the members of the SLFP rather than attempt to persuade party defectors to rejoin. 

 

Meanwhile Minister John Amaratunga stated that the UNP will capitalize on the fact that several major parties have split and are in disarray.
