JO’s request asking all SLFP members to defect is immoral – Weerakumara

Former Deputy Leader of the National Freedom Front Weerakumara Dissanayake stated that he joined the President along with his peers to strengthen the weaknesses existing within the government and the SLFP. 

 

Speaking to the media after receiving SLFP membership from President Sirisena, Weerakumara Dissanayake stated that the request made by the Joint Opposition for all SLFP members to vacate their posts in government is morally incorrect. 

 

Former National Organizer of the NFF Piyasiri Wijenayake and former North Central Provincial Councilor P.B.Kumara who also received SLFP membership were present at the event.
