Deputy Minister of Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara says that attempts to break apart the Sri Lank Freedom Party (SLFP) by contesting under the “flower bud” have failed and that the party will continue to move forward even stronger.
He was speaking to reporters outside the Galle District Secretariat, after handing over nominations for the district’s local government bodies today (18).
He claimed that those attempting to destabilize the SLFP have an ulterior motive and that is to create the necessary environment for others to form governments.
The deputy minister said that it is guaranteed the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will receive the power in the village at a time when an SLFP President is governing the country.
