A bilateral discussion was held between Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday (19).
The discussion which focused on a number of factors of great importance to both countries, was held at Temple Trees, reported the PM’s Office.
The Malaysian PM left Sri Lanka yesterday (20) in a Special Malaysian flight at 4.10 pm, while concluding his three-day-official visit, Ada Derana airport correspondent reported.
Malaysian Prime Minister arrived in Sri Lanka last Sunday, (17) for a three-day official visit on the invitation of President Maithripala Sirisena, as this year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between both countries, Foreign Affairs Ministry stated.
Najib and Sirisena also signed three memoranda of understanding (MoU) pertaining to Science and Technology, bio-economic development cooperation and training of state officials,during his three-day official visit.
