The remains of an elderly woman who had died under suspicious circumstances have been found at a residence in Ganewalpola, Kekirawa.
Police said that the 93-year-old woman was found dead with severe burns in her body.
The remains have been placed at the Anuradhapura Hospital while Kekirawa Police is conducting further investigations.
