Two suspects were detained earlier today (22) at Mount-Lavinia and Grandpass for the possession of large quantities of heroin.
Officials from the Mount-Lavinia Crime Prevention Unit detained a 24 year old with 20 grams of heroin while another individual was apprehended from the Grandpass area with 15 grams of heroin.
Both suspects will be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
