Officials from the Mundalama Police apprehended eight persons for illegally gambling in Agunawila.
The arrests were made last night (3), where the suspects were gambling behind a garage of a residence in Agunawila.
The owners of the residence stated that they were not aware of the gambling racket behind their residence.
The suspects will be produced before the Puttalam Magistrate’s Court.
