The police arrested four men in Hasalaka today (15) for allegedly engaging in treasure hunting.
The arrest was made following a tip-off received by Hasalaka Police Station.
The suspects are residents of Badulla, Ulpathagama, and Aranthalawa, police said.
They will be produced before the Mahiyangana Magistrate’s Court today.
Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by Hasalaka Police.
