Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya requests all trade union leaders and professionals not to engage in trade union actions while disrupting the activities of the Local Government election polls.
He requested all parties to extend their fullest support to hold the Election at a moment where it has reached its final stage.
He made this statement at a media briefing held at Election Secretariat today (28).
