Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that racism has seen a dramatic rise within Sri Lanka following the decision of the government to prioritize reconciliation.
He further stated that he has never promoted racism or racial segregation even though several allegations have been levied against him.
The former President expressed these sentiments while addressing the SLPP rally in Maharagama.
