MPs arrive for swearing in of new State & Deputy Ministers

Government Ministers and MPs are currently arriving at the Presidential Secretariat for the swearing in of new State Ministers and Deputy Ministers before the President at 10.30 am.
President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also arrived at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo for the event.
All MPs of the government were requested to attend the swearing in ceremony today.
Eighteen new Cabinet ministers were sworn in before the President Maithripala Sirisena, yesterday (01).
Apart from the newly appointed 18 ministerial portfolios, the remaining Cabinet ministers will continue as previously, said the President’s Media Division.
